Switching from Tradify to MC Plus
Bring your customers, price list, booked jobs and unpaid invoices across in one go. Your past jobs and invoices come too, so you can still look things up.
Tradify and MC Plus, side by side
Tradify charges $48, $52 or $62 a month for every person (NZ pricing page, checked 30 October 2026). MC Plus is $39, $79 or $139 a month for the whole business.
A 5-person team on Tradify Pro is $260 a month. On MC Plus Team it is $79, about $2,170 a year less.
Tradify keeps timesheets, certificates and safety forms for Pro and Plus, and purchase orders, its AI tools and reports for Plus. In MC Plus they are on every plan. Tradify charges the same rate per person at any team size. It connects to MYOB and QuickBooks as well as Xero; MC Plus works with Xero only. Prices exclude GST. Source: Tradify NZ pricing. How to move
1. Export from Tradify
- Customers: Customers, Import/Export, Export Customers to File.
- Price list: Settings, Price List, Options, Export All Price Lists.
- Jobs: Jobs, Options, Export to File (choose All jobs first).
- Invoices: Invoices, Options, Export to File.
- Quotes: Quotes, Options, Export to File.
2. Drop the files into MC Plus
In MC Plus, open Settings, Data, Move to MC Plus, choose Tradify, and choose all your files at once. MC Plus works out which file is which.
3. Check, then bring it in
You see exactly what will come across before anything is added, and you can correct how any column was read. Then one press brings it all in.
Changed your mind?
Undo this move takes it all back out, keeping anything you have worked on since.
Your business, ready on day one
- Customers, with phone, email and address. Anyone already in MC Plus is skipped, so nobody is added twice.
- Your price list, with cost, sell price and markup.
- Booked jobs, straight onto your calendar with their dates and times.
- Unpaid invoices, keeping their old numbers and what is still owing, so you can chase them and record payments.
- Past jobs, quotes and invoices, kept as read-only history to look things up. They are not counted again as sales.
- Not included: photos and attachments stay in Tradify. Download any you need before you cancel.
Leaving is just as easy: one download of everything in MC Plus, as spreadsheets other apps can import, plus your photos in a folder per job.
